"... sounds as bold as it looks.
Aggressive highs and plenty of shimmer... imaginative design details and
a high impact tone at a remarkable price. The Chief HOWLS!" -
Guitar Player Magazine A Luthier's rule of thumb is that low, wide braces are best for bass frequencies and tall, thin braces are best for treble frequencies. We've applied this thinking to our bridge and it works. Our solid Maple bridge plate is asymmetrical and placed diagonally to enhance the dispersion patterns of our bridge design. Our matched bridge and bridge plate configuration balances the bass and treble remarkably and produces sustain unmatched by other systems. There are no sharp corners on the front edge of the bridge to concentrate stress on the top. Less stress = Longer life. The soundhole is placed in a low vibration area. This way the hole does not hinder sound and the area that would normally be just a vent in the top is now contributing to the tone and volume of the guitar. |
