MHX
The
Masters Mahogany Classic features 4 ply 5mm African Mahogany
shells with maple reinforcement rings that recreates the super
deep lows, extreme warmth and incredible richness of classic
vintage drums. Only African Mahogany is capable of producing
this sound and only Pearl makes drums from this legendary wood.
MHX mounted toms feature MasterCast die cast hoops for improved
attack, focus, and noticeably clearer definition. Mounted toms
also include Pearl's OptiMount Suspension System featuring
four-point mounting for unparalleled stability, resonance and
sustain. MHX mounted toms are available in standard,
alternative, and power depths from 8" to 16" in
diameter.
Bass
drums are equipped with Masters die cast D-054 claws with rubber
lining to protect the beauty of the high-gloss finished hoops.
Recessed tension rods prevent accidental tuning changes and
permit snag-proof entry and removal when using cases.
Masters Mahogany Classic are formed using Pearl’s exclusive
Heat/Compression Shell Molding System that employs high
temperatures and pressure to create the strongest, most resonant
shells in the world. All Pearl shells feature overlapping seams
with no gaps thus allowing the shells to vibrate uniformly,
unencumbered by air pockets, for superior tone and sonic purity.
Two
MHX snare drums are offered: the MHX-1455S (14"x5.5")
and MHX-1465S (14"x6.5"). Both feature: 6 ply 7.5mm
100% African Mahogany shells for outstanding attack and
presence, MasterCast die cast hoops, SR-017 vertical pull
strainer, bridge lugs, Stainless Steel tension rods with brass
tension receivers, and Remo Ambassador heads.
Drums are available in components and are priced equally to
Masters Maple 6 ply and 4 ply drums. Masters Mahogany Classic
are available in super high gloss #141 Red Mahogany lacquer
finish.
All
Masters Series drums are available with your choice of Black
Chrome, Satin Chrome, and Gold plated drum hardware at the same
price as Chrome!
